ABOUT ME
MY STORYRealizing at a very young age that I could “play by ear,” and that music would be my life’s work, I actively pursued my dream of shaping a career in music and music education. I have done all forms of church music, musical theater work both as a performer and director, and 25 years spent in the public school choral music education field. I am available for accompaniment work (piano, pipe/electronic organ, keyboards), vocals and vocal coaching, and music direction (church or theater). My motto has always been “it’s not bragging if you can do it.” And I deliver! I have cultivated my musical skills with an in-born musicianship and an inate musical instinct that I am quite proud to offer to the world. Contact me today for your musical needs.
David Rigsby is a newly retired choral music educator now living in Savannah, Georgia. He looks forward to getting reconnected with the music and arts scene in Savannah, the lowcountry, and the Southeast US.
David Rigsby spent the majority of his musical career in the Southern California, Los Angeles and Hollywood areas, both in the sacred and secular musical fields. He comes with years of experience in many genres of keyboard and vocal excellence and sang for twenty-one years with the professional chorus Pacific Chorale of Orange County.
